What is the general format of the class?
You will start with a warm-up, then perform an upper body work out with light dumbbells. Next, you experience a total body barre workout, finishing with deep sculpting abdominal work. Plus, burn a whole lot of calories.
How long is the class?
The Booty Barre is 55 minutes long and will start and finish on time due to the nature of how the studio classes are scheduled.
How many classes do you suggest a week?
For best results it’s recommended to take at least 2-3 classes a week.
What age range is this class designed for?
The Booty Barre is for all ages from teenagers to soccer moms to baby boomers, look at the level of the class listed on the schedule.
Who teaches the classes?
All Booty Barre teachers have been trained and approved by Jordanna Smith the Australian Master trainer. They also all hold either a Pilates certification and/or a personal trainer certification.
There are various types of Booty Barre classes you can experience throughout the week. They are:
Booty Barre Plus
A fun high energy fusion class, combining pilates, dance, yoga and cardio intervals at the barre. bootybarre PLUS is low impact thats performed to the beat of the music and burns mega calories.
Booty Barre Flex n Flow
A fusion class, that is based on Pilates principles with movements inspired from exercises on the reformer or trapeze table. The class is performed to the beat of the music utilising a band for strength training and total body sculpting.
